DAMIEN HIRST, a cura di Anna Coliva e Mario Codognato, dal 10 maggio al 10 ottobre 2021: un imponente gruppo di opere dalla serie di Hirst Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable saranno esposte in tutte le sale del Museo affiancando i capolavori antichi. Sculture colossali o piccolissime, realizzate in materiali pregiati come il bronzo, il marmo di Carrara o la splendida malachite si inseriranno, insieme ai suoi dipinti Color Space, nel flusso della collezione permanente, in una visione che combina il contemporaneo all’arte del passato, esorta a ripensare i loro statuti e che crea nuovi confini.

DAMIEN HIRST, curated by Anna Coliva and Mario Codognato, from 10 May to 10 October 2021: an impressive group of works from Hirst’s series Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable will be exhibited throughout the museum alongside the ancient masterpieces. From colossal to very small sculptures, all made of precious materials such as bronze, Carrara marble and splendid malachite, will be displayed alongside his Colour Space paintings amongst the permanent collection. The vision combines contemporary art with that of the past, prompting us to reconsider their respective statuses and create new boundaries.
