Dal 19 marzo 2022 Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi e Musei del Bargello presentano Donatello, il Rinascimento, una mostra storica e irripetibile che mira a ricostruire lo straordinario percorso di uno dei maestri più importanti e influenti dell’arte italiana di tutti i tempi, a confronto con capolavori di artisti come Brunelleschi, Masaccio, Andrea Mantegna, Giovanni Bellini, Raffaello e Michelangelo.

Zwar stammt die Meldung schon von Anfang März, aber man sollte die schönen Skulpturen nicht an ihren Orginalplätzen in Siena und Florenz suchen. Sie haben erstmalig eine eigene Austellung" Donatello, die Renaissance" in Florenz vom 19.03. bis 31.07.2022. Die Austellung findet im Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi in Florenz statt.

Wie der Bildhauer Donatello in Florenz die Renaissance miterfand

Donatello versöhnte das Politische mit dem Privaten. Eine große Ausstellung in Florenz feiert den Bildhauer.

Florenz rang früh und leidenschaftlich um sein Selbstverständnis und damit auch um dessen bestmögliche skulpturale Repräsentation. Dort ist jetzt eine Blockbuster-Ausstellung zu dem Florentiner Bildhauer Donatello (1386-1466) zu sehen, im Skulpturenmuseum Bargello und im Palazzo Strozzi. Sie soll in abgewandelter Form im Herbst nach Berlin und im kommenden Jahr nach London wandern. Zu erleben ist ein Œuvre, in dem sich das Politische und Persönliche immer wieder durchdringen, und das auch deshalb die Renaissance mitinitiieren und Künstler wie Michelangelo prägen konnte.

Devised as a single exhibition across two venues, the Museo Nazionale del Bargello and Palazzo Strozzi, it is promoted and organized in conjunction with the Skulpturensammlung Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London; each of which will hold subsequent variant exhibitions on Donatello, later in 2022 in Berlin and at the start of 2023 in London.
